Countries like USA and Europe have to create more Job Opportunities for people who are less skilled or have medium expertise in their area of work.

These form a large part of population anywhere in the world. The mechanisms or opportunities to work-train like apprentice is lost, many people will not become skilled due to loss of training companies which are also manufacturers of products with low value add.

Automation in a large scale has already eroded many jobs decades back, but creating Low IP products and Hand-Crafted items, became an opportunity for Jobs. Example the manufacture of Boxes or Shelves.

Automation is to be used for repeatability and quality. In many cases automation is used to reduce the workforce. Now Offshoring takes away the low-skill jobs and training companies also.

The solution is, those people take to farming for livelihood or create their own small townships and firms and have their own small closed economy.

The country or the politics cannot change this, All firms and individuals wish to maximize their profits and investments.

The common man should Encourage firms that put back money in the Society that made the company's fortune. Buy the products of such firms, slowly there will be some sort of equilibrium. Prepare to work for a lesser pay. Some sacrifice has to be made.

Greed has overcome many, the need of the little people is not understood by them. This very greed is not sustainable, this is going to recoil as a lowering of purchasing power of the once prosperous population. It will also cause unpleasant jolts in the economies of the smaller countries where the business was offshored as their business will downsize. (It has happening now due to the europe pains).

Advice to the Big Investors and the Multinationals who did this - strike a balance before you are struck bad.

Advise to the smaller emergents - Consolidate, merge, adapt, keep going. It is not your fault. its the guys above.

There is fault of both - Over-drumming, Over-estimates, Getting carried away without foresight. Read the other posts on this site to understand why the recessions happen. Still it is not too late, rein in, do something now. I can just analyze and give some ideas.
